Beginners Bra-Making course

Have you ever wanted to make your own bra? One that’s supportive, pretty and – above all – comfortable? My beginners bra-making course is the answer to your prayers!

In this two-day workshop I will teach you the skills you need to make your own customised bra.  Lingerie fabrics will be explained and I will talk you through the various bra-making elastics and hardware (known as ‘findings’).

Then, using the lovely Freya pattern and bra kit provided, you will learn the specialist techniques by making a trial bra to your measurements – including the use of sheer cup lining and lace in the upper cup and applying foldover elastic.

One of the unique features of my course is that I will fit you for your correct size underwires.  This is a vital step in getting a properly-fitting and comfortable bra.

Another unique feature of this course is that – time permitting – I will fit the trial bra to your personal shape and discuss any necessary pattern alterations.

You’re on your way to the best bra you’ve ever worn!

Just bring along your sewing machine and something for your lunch – everything else is provided.

Attendees receive a 15% discount on any further supplies purchased during the course (including other courses!).
